It is a great pleasure to invite you to participate in the 17th International Conference on Photonics and Imaging in Biology and Medicine (PIBM 2024) to be held by Hainan Society of Biomedical Engineering in Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City, China on November 2-7, 2024.
PIBM is the largest international series conference in biomedical photonics hosted in Asia. Suggested by Dr. Britton Chance, father of biophotonics, PIBM was launched by Huazhong University of Science and Technology biyearly in 1999-2005 and became yearly in 2006-2014. PIBM is designed as a forum where scientists, engineers, and clinical researchers from multidisciplinary fields communicate to apply optical and imaging solutions to answer the questions in biology and medicine. The scope of this conference ranges from basic research to application and demonstration, including but not limited to neurophotonics, immunophotonics, agri-photonics, analytical biophotonics, and translational biophotonics.
The abstract submission is open now online. PIBM 2024 will continue to set the Best Student Paper Award for excellent papers contributed by the students, and add Best Poster Award for the first time. Authors of all the presented contributions may choose to publish a conference paper in the Proceedings of SPIE (EI indexed) or submit to the peer-reviewed journal, Journal of Innovative Optical Health Science (JIOHS, SCI impact factor 2.5, also indexed by EI and Scopus).
